My Review (Spoiler Free)

Outside is a compelling story about four friends reuniting for a hunting trip in the Icelandic Highlands. Each friend comes with baggage and a different interpretation of their shared history. When they find themselves trapped in an old emergency cabin during a howling snowstorm, things do not go as planned. 

This book kept me guessing even as I knew the ultimate ending. Jonasson packs details in this book that are easy to overlook until the big payoff at the end. This book is an easy page turner and keeps you wanting to find out the answers. After reading this book, all I can think is "pick your friends wisely."
